William Bruce (born 1790s) was the son of Alexander Bruce & Margaret Sutherland & his wife Jannet Gunn (born 1790s) was the daughter of Donald Gunn & Esther Sutherland - all from Loth & Kildonan parish except Esther Sutherland who was from Caithness.
